This sixty-minute professional learning session will support those within Early Years settings, to hear more about how RHET can support your individual setting with embedding the journey of food to support our children and young people.
This session covers farm to fork stories and activities you can share with learners, making sustainability easy to understand, ideas on preparing and sharing food in class and exploring and identifying big questions linked food and textiles
This sixty-minute professional learning opportunity will bring STEM from the farm into the classroom and demonstrate how you can use practical hands on learning to develop and inspire your class.
The session will pose a series of big questions for use in classroom settings. We will talk through the STEM learning linked to the question, highlight practical activities to carry out in class (with minimal resource) and provide the opportunity for you to undertake the activity to embed confidence.
This sixty-minute professional learning opportunity will support developing the learner role as an active and informed citizen. Using the lens of the sustainability development goals we will share resources and ideas linked to food and farming to develop your confidence and skills to enable and encourage participation.
