Royal Highland Show
The Royal Highland Show may have ended, but the fun doesn’t have to!
Keep the excitement going at home this summer with a range of family-friendly activities. From planting and cooking to crafting and more, find plenty of inspiration in our online RHET Discovery Centre.
The 2026 Royal Highland Show will take place from Thursday, June 18th to Sunday, June 21st.
Recognised as one of Scotland’s premier events, the Show offers a fantastic day out for families and individuals looking to enjoy the very best of Scottish food, farming, and rural life.
The Royal Highland Education Trust (RHET) is delighted to welcome school groups on Thursday and Friday. The RHET Discovery Centre will be open daily from 9am to 5pm, and is accessible to the public throughout all four days of the Show.
Children can enjoy a wide range of hands-on activities, delivered by RHET in collaboration with a variety of partners and organisations. These engaging sessions take place both within the Discovery Centre and at locations across the showground.
More details will be shared closer to the event.
