About us
Royal Highland Education Trust (RHET) was established in 1999and since then we deliver experiential learning opportunities for children in Scotland by working with volunteers to provide free educational activities linked to Curriculum for Excellence.
Now with 13 countryside initiatives (CIs) affiliated to RHET across Scotland, our volunteers are bringing farming, the working countryside and its practices to life for young people.
RHET provides free educational activities and learning opportunities that align with the Curriculum for Excellence.
Our goal is to give every child in Scotland the chance to learn about food, farming, and the countryside, to create a wider understanding of the environmental, economic, and social aspects of rural Scotland.
